If monitored self-cycles have failed for 3-4 times tube test may be done to know if tubes are patent/blocked.

Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection is an Invitro Fertilisation procedure in which a single sperm cell is injected directly into the cytoplasm of an egg. This technique is very useful in male partners with very low count and motility who fail to fertilise the eggs because of bad quality sperms.

The patient may experience some amount of cramping, bloating, constipation or breast tenderness post-the procedure. Other than these, most side effects as part of in vitro fertilization are experienced before the egg retrieval procedure.
